Question on Loops Unlimited

Brand new to Music Maker from Humble Bundle codes ive had saved up since last year. I have about 7-8 sound pools installed from all my credits but am now interested in this Loops Unlimited.

I can’t find much feedback on it and all I find are posts of people losing access to their sound pools or problems with their projects once they cancel the service, even if it’s using owned soundpools. I’m guessing a lot of it is because it was a newer service at the time of those posts.

Anyway, how is the service now? Is it pretty seamless if you cancel the service?

thanks.

In unlimited loops the soundpools are not in WAV or OGG but in format called MXCOGG. You cannot use this format without an active subscription. Most people had problems because they replaced their WAV/OGG soundpools with MXCOGG soundpools. In that case they had to redownload them but they didn't know. So, the best idea is to not replace your already downloaded soundpools with the new format if you start a subscription.

Ahhhh thank you. That makes sense. Is there a way to know if you’re using the Mxcogg version of a soundloop? And not the owned version?

like if I sign up for Loops unlimited, download a soundloop and then decide to buy it because I like it. I had wacogg first, will it auto replace with the owned version after I download it or do I need to replace them in existing projects?
