Sorry, ACL is not a multi-document application in terms of Windows. So, you cannot have multiple projects open at the same time and copy & paste between these. This should be pretty easy to work around, though: Simply file-export the one project to an audio file (e.g. CD-quality WAV) via the export function after you are done cleaning and editing it. Then open the other project and import/add the created audio file to it. Done.

Depending on the specifics of your requirements, you might want to modify this workflow. If e.g. the one project has multiple songs in it, and you have already made sure to position the track markers correctly, you can choose an option to break up the exported audio files at the track marker positions in the export process. This way you can easily recover the track markers again when re-importing the audio files into your other project.
