Putting music on iTunes legability?

Drattmann wrote on 9/27/2011, 8:56 PM

Hi, I am very new, and although I have heard similar questions, I wanted to ask, just so that I completely understand, and you know, don't break any laws.

So I am interested, not in using premade loops, but to make my own loops, on Magix music Maker, and creating a song with the loops that I made to put it on iTunes.

My question is simple. Is this legal?

Thanks for any help!

Sincerely, Caleb.

If you are using Magix Music Maker 17,18 or any new version other than Magix Music Maker software you will have to buy an Audio Pro Unlimited license from catooh.US199.99  then you can compose music/song for commercial work.

http://www.catooh.com/uk/sys/id/Katalog/area/mediaDetails/item_id/243967/

If you are using Magix Music Maker older versions, example; Version(standard or premium) 10,11,12, 15, 16 you do not need any license and whatever you compose in Magix Music Maker you can use commercially.

Therefore, answer to your question is yes if you follow above guidelines.

Note: You better ask the same question with Magix support for double check.

Yes...If you are using loops and samples that YOU made with MMM, or any other software, YOU own the copyrights to them and you can do anything you want with them.

Using someone else's loops, or any soundpool from 17 on, is an entirely different matter.

A "soundpool" is the collection of samples that come with the Music Maker software and also sold separately by MAGIX.
