@Oma

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

First, if you literally mean MAGIX Music Maker Premium 4.5 that is extremely old and highly unlikely to run on any modern computer, even if you could find a copy of it! The current latest version is 29! So, can you first clarify exactly which product you are trying to buy for your grandson?

Hi

. . . . MAGIX Music Maker Premium Edition 4.5 . . . .

Do you mean Music Maker Jam 4.5?

If so:

  • for a computer using Windows 10 see here - this has to be downloaded using the computer that it is to be installed on

  • for an Android phone (Handy), the program has to be downloaded and installed through the Goggle App Store on the phone - note: the program will not work on iPhones.

I only know what my grandson sent me. www.magix.com/index.php?id=20772&L=52

So I guess I just need to give him a certificate that he can order it on his own to download on his device?

Thank you.

@Oma

Hi

Thanks for the link, that clarifies which software you are referring to.

This is a little difficult to advise as the program would be best registered in his name and requires an email address.

In the case of my grandchildren this year, I gave them money so they can buy what they want and have the fun of going to the toy store. I would have preferred to take them to the store however the current virus situation prevents that.

I was afraid that was what I was going to need to do. Thank you. Especially this year, we wanted to do the buying, but will follow your lead. Can hardly wait to see what he will create.

Thanks again
