Prox7Suite- New folder creation issue in vst Browser

RoRo13 wrote on 5/9/2023, 1:07 PM

I have recently encountered this and am unable to fix. I Have updated to most recent patch, used repair function, as well as reinstalled Prox7Suite.

Now the problem-When I create new folders in the VST Brower and close Samplitude, when reopening they are gone; and folders created a while ago are still there.I am able to favorite VST's in the browser, but that's it.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

@RoRo13

There really was no need to post this question three times! So I have hidden your other posts.

Are you aware there is a dedicated forum for Samplitude Pro here? I would strongly recommend you to register at and repost your question there since there will be many more users of Samplitude Pro who frequent that forum rather than this one.

I have the same problem since the new update. All my audio setting disappeared after closing Samplitude. All recent worked folders are not up to date.

@tIM-Rankin

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

As advised to @RoRo13 I think this would be better posted to the dedicated Samplitude Pro forum, link in my reply above.

Hi

. . . . When I create new folders in the VST Brower . . . .

Where did you create these folders:

  1. Inside a subfolder of the Documents folder?

  2. On the desktop?

  3. In the C:\Program Data folder?

  4. In the Samplitude installation folder?

  5. Or some where else?

Hello john

this is what I am referring to---- the plugin browser

and these are the plugin browser vst folder locations.

Every time I try to create new folders or rename folders in the plugin browser, when Samplitude is closed then later opened, they always disappear .
