Welcome to the user forums. First off, we're not Magix employees. We do know a lot about the Magix video programs and you'll generally get an answer much quicker here than through the official Help system.
My PDF manual doesn't have a picture on page 34, but there is a link on page 34 to this page:
In the standard layout, that "project window" lays across the bottom of the program window from edge to edge. This is what a standard layout looks like:
You can reset your Magix arrangement to standard on the "Window" menu:
If that doesn't work, could you take a screenshot ("print screen"), save it as a image and then attach it here using the blue button with the Up arrow.
Details of your display resolution eg 1920x1080 would also help. You can get that from Windows settings>System>Display (or right-click on your Desktop and choose Display settings.
If the Magix window still looks messed up, an adjustment that might help is the Display Scale. Try it on a lower setting eg if it's on 125%, try 100%.
The standard view kinda works now, though the preview pane seems misplaced. I tried to press COLOR, SHARPNESS, ETC. but nothing happens!
I'm considering reinstalling my Movie Edit Pro which looks more sane and normal to navigate. Not sure though if the previous updates will still be downloadable.
Assuming your computer/laptop is running Windows 10 or 11, check the Windows settings, Display, Scale option is set to 100%.
A screenshot of the program interface would help, along with your computer specification - see this topic for what is required, nd please quote processor and graphics card make/model in full, and also what monitor/screen resolution(s) you are working with if this is a laptop..
