Project not appearing in Vegas Pro 18 timeline

Hi Folks,

First time on here so please bear with me!

I have just bought a new MSI laptop (running Windows 11) as an upgrade from my old one on which I still have Vegas Pro installed

I have installed Vegas Pro 18 on my new laptop (by downloading from the website) and it's working fine for new projects. Project media for old projects (photos, GoPro clips etc) is on an external hard drive. I have copied over the VEGAS folder from my c:\Documents to the c: drive on the new laptop. However, when I open an old project on the new laptop, the project media appears in the Project Media window but the project does not load onto the timeline and it remains completely blank.

Is there something I haven't copied across to the new laptop or am I missing something really obvious?

@Tuppers

Hi and welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

As much as we would like to help with your question it really needs to be asked on the Vegas Pro forums.

https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/

They cover the Vegas Pro side of things. These forums are more for Movie Studio, (No longer a Vegas Product) and Video Pro X.
