program will not load

Hello,

I am hoping someone might assist as this seems to be the only option for resolution and solution.

I have a version of ME Pro 15 that I purchased 10 years ago and have not used it, well, let's just say several laptops ago. I have just installed it on my Acer E15, i5 and cannot find it in the program search, cannot get it to load from program files. Uninstalled, installed. Nothing in the knowledge base.

Any suggestion?

@rob-r

Welcome to the Magix forums.

You originally posted this to the Off Topic area but seem to be asking about Movie Edit Pro. Hence, I have moved it. If that is not correct, please let us know.

Assuming that you now have a Win 10 machine I would guess that your version of MEP is not compatible with that OS and so cannot be properly installed or run.

Thank you for your response. So that is it, I paid for this product, albeit a while ago, now is too out of date to use? Can I not get a license update without purchasing a whole new license?

Hi

. . . . I paid for this product, albeit a while ago, now is too out of date to use? . . . .

It is very out of date as far as Windows 10 is concerned - Windows 10 is internally a very different operating system than that for which MEP 15 was certified (Windows 2000, XP and Vista).

. . . . Can I not get a license update without purchasing a whole new license . . . . .

IMHO after 10 years - no.
