new to magix so need some help, loaded software but the program layout is all over the place some of it is not on my screen, how can i change the lay out as part of 1 of them is off the screen but don't know how to return so all are in view?
i made the writing bigger in the settings & made it to larger thinking it may make the small writing bigger on a loop title, but it has made everything bigger.
Iv'e gone into the settings to change it back but the box with all the settings is larger now as well & i cant see the button on screen to change the settings or scroll down any further to change them.
any idea of how i can get the writing & display box of the settings small again?
I assume you mean you changed the setting highlighted in my screenshot below?
And that you can no longer access that screen because it is now outside your monitor window? If so, I think you must also have changed your Windows Display settings and will need to first reset those (via Settings>Display). That screenshot was taken with MM text set to "larger" but with Windows Display setting at 100%, on a 1920 x 1080 screen.
no the windows settings are the same 100% i have just tried to shrink windows down to 75% & looked at MM but the MM text is still large? & yes its out of view of the screen, still?

By resetting the program you will lose all customisations you have made to the program, i.e. anything that you have changed from the Defaults that MM initially installs with, as @johnebaker wrote.
Any existing MM "Projects" will not be affected but there is no harm at all, before you carry out the reset, in making back-up copies of everything you want to be sure of not losing. Then, should something "highly unusual" happen in the reset, you have safety copies of your work to return to! Once you're happy that the reset has worked and "nothing is missing" you can then feel free to delete those copies.
