I updated the program within as advised here and now nothing works.

And, unless you are prepared to go into a lot more detail about the exact nature of the problem and about your computer I strongly suspect you will continue to see that nothing works!

As this is you first post in the forum - ignoring the comment you made in a different topic, AFAICS no one here has advised you to update - that was your decision to update the program.
. . . . and now nothing works . . .
Help us to help you by providing more information - cryptic comments are useless.
See this topic for details of what is required - computer specification, Music Maker version number and variant, ie Free, Plus or Premium, if the version of Music maker is not the latest (2021) give more details of what is not working.
If you are rferring to the latest version (2021), read this bug list to see if the know bugs are affecting you, if 'not working' is not covered by the bug list then give more details of what is not working.
