program doesn't open and keeps asking for registration

I have had the program sound forge 10.0 for a long time. Now when I click on it it won't open and says these privileges aren't available.

This is likely the 'Elevated Privilege' issue @paul-lawrence, which is somewhat common with Sound Forge 10 on a Win 10 PC. See this thread. There are a few ways to work around it.
