Program does not recognize my camcorder

Just installed program. Cannot record. Camcorder is not recognized. Using Panasonic Digital Video Camcorder PV-GS-31. What do I need to do to get connected?

Hello!
Does your camcorder recognised in operation system (Does the operational system informs that the new device is found?)?
Does you set your camcorder in "Playback" mode?
