Producer Planet

Dunno if this is right place to post this but why doesn't Producer Planet have separate categories to upload your music to, ie. hip hop in a hip hop category, pop in pop category, etc, instead of lumping all music together and then you have to wade through loads of different genres just to listen to a genre you actually like and plus you sometimes get certain people just spamming loads of music and so then other music gets ignored and just pushed down.

@Ikonik Is the ProducerPlanet Community even frequently visited enough by real listeners to care about this?

@SP. What you mean "real listeners"?

SP. wrote on 2/11/2025, 6:15 PM

@Ikonik Real people, not bots.

@SP. Obviously there's bots on there, same as everywhere else but there's also plenty of "real" people on there as well, who just want to share their music.

And anyway if you gonna talk about bots, then just don't bother with anything anymore like youtube, twitter/x, Instagram, etc cos they all full of bots

@Ikonik

Hi

. . . . Producer Planet have separate categories to upload your music to . . . .

Producerbase, not Producer Planet, is the 'replacement' for the much lamented Acid Planet, which was shut down in 2018, and is IMHO a 'free for all'.

The Media section of the forum, link at top of the page, is restricted to 2 uploads per 24 hrs to avoid 'spamming' of the forum ensuring all uploaders get a fair chance for their creations to be seen and is categorised.
