Alistaiir-Clarke wrote on 5/7/2022, 5:25 PM

At present running the free Music Maker, results in the following error report.

Exception Desc Thread name address module Prog Thread

OX8000 Breakpoint Muma Location ox00007 Qt5Web EngineC Music Maker 3200.

So far I have been unable to use this program and download the 6 soundpools supplied.

Any ideas why this is happening please?

Thank you.

@Alistaiir-Clarke You can try and reset the program setting by deleting the MusicMaker.ini in C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\MAGIX\mm30

If this is not helping try asking customer support at infoservice@magix.net for a download link for the newest version. There were problems with the QT framework in older versions that caused crashes. This problem should be fixed in the new version.

@Alistaiir-Clarke

Hello, welcome

The Muma error means there is an external audio interface ASIO driver mismatch.

If you have an external USB audio device then disconnect the device before starting Music Maker.

Once Music Maker is started, plug in the device and in the Program settings Audio/Midi tab select your devices own ASIO driver.

Also check for graphics card driver updates, also in connection with the QT5web issues, check for Windows updates.
