Problems with Move Templates

Antoine-BBTV wrote on 1/31/2023, 11:37 PM

I am having trouble with the move templates on video pro x and can really use some help. The move templates work perfect on magix movie edit pro, but for some reason they are responding terribly in pro x.

When I start with a green screen video and use the section, size and position effects and chroma key all goes well to give me the video with no green.see this pic for example.

The problem occurs when I use the movement templates on this chroma keyed video. I like to use move effects to make us shake, zoom in, zoom out etc while we game. But when I place the move template on the file it reverts the video back to this

It will apply the move effects, but it removes all the previous effects I put on the video such as chroma key, size and position etc. In my magix movie edit pro it retains all the original effects and then applies the move effect the way that I intend to. Any help on this will be great. I've been dealing with it for months having to revert back to magix movie edit pro. I really would like to do all my video editing in pro x. Thanks for any help in advance.

@Antoine-BBTV

Hi

Try applying the shake/move effect first, then Chromakey, the reverse order does remove the Chromakey, I would suggest you create a bug report

Thanks John, I will give this a try this evening. How do you create a bug report?

It did work doing it in the reverse order as well. Thanks so much!! It creates a little extra work doing it in reverse, but at least I have the ability to do it now.
