I upgraded my Music Maker 11 2006 to Music Maker 2022 and then my Audio Cleaning Lab 2005 no longer works unless the original CD is placed in the CD drive. I have always ran the program directly from the C drive in my PC. Can I do that again? Can I update? My Sound Forge program does not work either since the update to Music Maker.
@Jeff-Scheid The CD copy protection is extremely old. I made the experience that the copy protection will not work on 64 Bit systems.
So, your only option might be an upgrade to Sound Forge Audio Cleaning Lab 4.
Alternatively, you could try to install a 32 Bit Windows XP, 7 or 10 on a secondary partition or in a Vmware virtual machine. This can work because Vmware can pass through your CD drive to the virtual machine. With this I was able to activate old Magix software on a virtual Windows XP machine.
