@larsfind

Welcome to the Magix forums.

I tested this in both VPX11 and MEP (latest versions in both cases) by placing a simple image on the timeline. At first, it seemed that VPX11 was NOT functioning in this area as well as it has in the past; indeed, ALL the colour stamps seemed to be having limited effect!

I tested the same image in MEP and saw the effective "removal" of the green elements in the chosen image (an image rather than video simply for ease of access to the file).

I then repeated the test in VPX and everything worked properly!

This is clearly some sort of "problem" and I think you should raise a ticket with full detail of what you have found by clicking on Support header of any forum page. Please refer in your ticket to this thread, and keep us all informed of what you hear back from Support.

Thank you.

Hi

I have tested this in VPX, MEP 2020 and MEP 2014.

There is a definite issue with the Chromakey, Stamp.

In MEP 2014, it works correctly, in MEP 2020 and VPX the effect is minimal, the Threshold slider being at the same control position as in MEP 2014. There appears to be a compression of the range of effect for the Threshold control.

. . . . I then repeated the test in VPX and everything worked properly! . . .

I cannot replicate this!

There is definitely something strange with Chromakey green in 17.0.3.63.

I opened an older project with a green screen image, and the green was now grey. Removing the effect and doing it again gave the same result. Upping the threshold to the top removed part of what was now grey, but not much. Instead, I used Color and selected the green part, and that worked.

I tried a couple of different green screen videos just to check. The only one that worked properly was one that I had treated, used the green swath as the background, and exported. It is greener than the green screen cloth and maybe that is part of the difference.

More testing required, but it looks like a bug.
