Thanks for the quick response, can you post a screen shot of the error message, part of the name of the DLL would indicate that it is a Microsoft Foundation Class Visual C++ error.
Are you getting similar error messages with any other programs?
Was Music Maker working and then suddenly stopped working?
If so what changed on the computer eg if you are on Windows 10, has it just updated to Windows 10 1709 Fall Creators Edition?
Hi , first thank You for Your help . sorry im slowly new in business was on ya link could not read no printer - cant screenshot dunno error says invalid pic first was vista coop then mx gesturedll mm worked for3 months-problem only if start mm
I am just fixing similar issues with the 1709 update on another PC, once the upgrade is complete, I think you may have to re-install MMM - use this procedure to get a clean install and check your system is OK.

Cheers for all that research - but I followed the whole shebang and I'm still stuck with a u/s Music Maker after installing it today. I had the free version and it stopped working a couple of days ago. I now reckon it's the Windows update... (after I paid for a updated Music Maker!). Any other suggestions to get the software working? You're clearly more techy than me! It starts up but no response on any function (you can choose sample loops but get no sound, you can press 'play' on the demo song but no action or sound, keyboard is visually working but no sound...)

This very strongly suggests that you do not have the correct audio driver selected on the Audio/MIDI page.
