problem loading efx plugins

Hi guys,

After not using Music Maker for a while because of all sorts of trouble, I was curious whether i'd be happier using the newest version of musicmaker. So i updated, and indeed this seems to work quite a bit better!

Now there's only still a few snags:

1) noisy / distorted reverbs in revolta

2) vertical zooming of tracks (all to default) is being undone when scrolling up or down

3) new: error-message as inserted as image above. it occurs with inserting any e-fx plugin, or loading a track with essenital plugins like the chorus-flanger already on track(s).

Especially the last one is the one i could really use some help with!

Thanks!

Rolf.

Hi

. . . . still a few snags: . . . .

  1. . . . . noisy / distorted reverbs in revolta . . . .

What is your computer specification? See this topic for details of what is required.

  2. . . . . vertical zooming of tracks (all to default) is being undone when scrolling up or down . . . .

Press the Tab key once - the tracks should then minimise and stay so.

  3. . . . . error-message as inserted as image above. it occurs with inserting any e-fx plugin, or loading a track with essenital plugins like the chorus-flanger already on track(s). . . . .

Is this on a new project or an older project from the previous version?

Assuming you purchased the Plus or Premium version, and the project is from the older version of MMM, did you download and install all the purchased content available under the Store, Downloads tab?

Hi John,

First of all: thank you for the simple but effective TAB-key tip there, makes my life just a little bit easier… :)

In answer to the question about the specs:

mobo: ASUSTeK CM6870
core: i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz, 4 core
mem: 16,0 GB RAM  (+18,8 GB virtual mem)
drive: SSD (ST250DM000-1BD141 - 232,88 GB
sound: Icon Global - AIO6 (+64bit asiodriver)
os: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro
version MM: v28.0.1.19 Premium.

but the 'funny' thing is: i also have MM running on a monster laptop (i7-5th gen, 32 GB ram, SSD, TASCAM asio, win10) and I have the same issue there! So it's easy to see how i came to the conclusion it must not be with the hardware i'm running it on...

I did not know that there is another way of downloading purchased content than via the built-in store. Installation went without errormessages.

Both the noisy reverb thing and the e-fx errors occur with newly inserted instances as with older projects (made under older version of MM).

Am I correct that Revolta v2.31 is the newest available and that is als not the source of troubles?

Kind regards,

Rolf.
