On opening Movie Studio 17.0, a window advises me that there is a major update for the software. I have tried to update 3 times in different ways (while application is running, selecting the option to update after application is closed in 2 ways) without success. The update is downloaded OK each time but it comes up with the following error message: "This installer is unable to install Movie Studio 17.0 Platinum while it is running" despite the fact that the application has been closed and is not running as I have checked with Windows Task Manager.

I am unable to identify where the 3 downloads have been stored.

Can you please advise how I can successfully update the application.
