Problem buring DVDs - !!! DBK error in CBurnDevSupport::InvalidateDiscInfo(): 16 - burn support - invalid device !!!

I originally got the following error message when burning a DVD:

!!! DBK error in CBurnDevSupport::InvalidateDiscInfo(): 16 - burn support - invalid device !!!

Movie Edit Pro 17 (not Plus version) worked fine until I bought a new DVD with a bluray/burner vs just a DVD burner.  Based on what I could find, I I updated my burn routines here:

http://support2.magix.com/customer/en/download/tools

The DVD burned correctly. Recently I attempted to burn another DVD, and go tthe same message:

!!! DBK error in CBurnDevSupport::InvalidateDiscInfo(): 16 - burn support - invalid device !!!

  So I updated my burn routines again....should they not have been updated from last time? I am now getting this message:

     Error in module "[null]" [Load address: 0xffffffff] to address 0x0ab07045

     Exception 0xc0000005 "ACCESS_VIOLATION

     It tells me my program is unstanble and I shoudl close the software. I did, but then I got it again, so I'm continuing on.to see what happens.

     Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi

I would suspect that the BD burner you have is so new that the burn routines (2010 version) do not have the correct parameters for the burner, hopefully a new set of routines will be available soon.

John.

Thank you for your response. It's weird that the first DVD worked, and this one does not. I have emailed support, and hopefully will get an answer that is worth the $13.99 I just paid.
