In a previous version of Photostory Deluxe I was able to just open the travel map enter a start city with travel points along the way and an end point, what happened to that simple animated route?
The old Travel Route Animation (TRA) has been replaced with Magix Travel Maps, which has the same functionality as the old TRA plus some new features. This should have been installed when Photostory was installed and can be used as a stand-alone program or launched from within Photostory - see image below.
Yes, I do have it installed. I have watched the tutorial, however, I don't find it all that helpful. I'll have to watch it again and see if I can figure out how to use the travel route in the US and Canada without additional purchases.
John, The tutorial indicates one can just click on one of the traveler package maps and it opens, no mention of having to purchase the traveler package. To me, the traveler maps that are available to me now are useless, in the past they were part of Photostory Deluxe. I am really discouraged and frustrated with Magix support. Sales lines are always busy and one is told to call back, tech support can be had for a fee. SO MUCH FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
When you installed your new Photostory Deluxe did you also download and install any and all additional content that was offered?
Yes, there are some travel packages that need to be purchased but the core program should not require such add-ons in order to function. Certainly, for me, I have never needed to purchase any of them.
Yes, I installed all the Select Files, e.g. Magix Travel Maps, Design Elements, etc. I see now where I have to go on the Travel Maps by putting in a location and go from there. It is always a new learning curve and at age 80 is not that easy. I am of the school "If it ain't broke don't fix it". Thanks for your assistance.
