I suspect this is because the new version is 64 bit and your older audio effects would have been for the 32 bit version of the app.

Did you choose to keep the 32 bit version installed when you upgraded? If so, you can open both versions simultaneously (MM may complain) but this might enable you to find the settings for those effects in the 32 bit version and attempt to recreate them in the 64 bit version. Not easy and not ideal but I think that may be your only solution, sorry.

Hopefully, another user may know a far easier route to what you want to do!
