Pre-Sales Question(s) -

I dug through some of the old threads....but, I am mostly interested in the variety of templates....is the $99 version adequate and/or as I learn the program more just using the Wizard will suffice.  I am in the demo mode and there is only one template.

Second question....maybe because I do not understand the terminology....but I dragged a video clip into the template timelines and it auto formatted the time to 1:20 or something and the video is like 4 minutes long.  I looked through the help window but I could not figure out how to extend the time of a clip.

Thank in advance.  This looks like a great program.

Purchase the Premium version - you get all codec licences etc included.

To answer your second question we ned more information about the source clip which is being 'shortened':

What is the source and format of the clip - if it is an avi or mov clip - use GSpot or MediaInfo to analyse it and determine what codecs are inside the clip. 

GSpot will also tell you if you have the correct codecs installed - use the 1,2,3 buttons under Video in the bottom left corner of the software window.

I guess what I am thinking is that when everything is in a single timeline from the template that if I stretched out the video it would push everything to the right....BUT, I am now thinking since it is a template with music that the choreagraphy is such they want you to stay within certain time limits for each piece?

If the template is one that sets transitions in time with the music then yes this will happen.

But back to the forst part of the question.  I think vegastiguy was interested in the variety of templates.  I am not totally sure, but in this respect I believe the plus and premium versions are identical (i.e. premium does not get extra movie templates).  Can someone clarify this?
