Power guitar- how to record

Hello

I have the following question about MAGIX music maker and power guitar tool. I want to play the guitar on the on-screen keyboard and get those sounds recorded. How to do that? Only thing I can do is play them but in no way I found out how to record it and use it for later.

What I do is basically I go instruments -> VST Instruments -> Power Guitar and window pops up

Hi and welcome to the Magix Community,

You didn't indicate which version of MMM that you're using, year and basic or Premium.

See this tutorial in which I actually cover recording the Power Guitar. You can't use the keyboard in the instrument, only the Keyboard in the Media Pool or an external keyboard.

Thank you, now I understand why I cant record.

Question for you thou- is there a way to change the Media Pool keyboard to some other one? With that I cant control all the buttons with my laptop keyboard,only like 70% of buttons are covered by keyboard, the rest I have to press.
