I daresay this question has arisen before but I can't find it in the forum. In Magix Audio Cleaning Lab (V.17) is there a plugin for the so-called Tape Stop, where the speed can be gradually increased or decreased for effects.
You're right...it has come up once before in the last year or so, but it doesn't show anything in a search.
I don't believe it is specific to ACL-17, is it?

Many thanks Procyon for the info. I've grabbed this plugin and tried it. Unfortunately, it does the opposite of what I'm looking for at the moment. But I'll keep it as I'll probably use it at some time.
What it does: Slows from normal speed to 0 speed and back to normal speed
What I'm looking for: To increase from normal speed to ridiculously fast speed with pitch ascension until it sounds like utter gibberish.
If you know of a plugin to do this I'd be delighted to hear from you again.

The plugin that I was directed to was not quite what I was looking for. However, Audacity has the feature I'm looking for although it has a limit to how fast or slow you are able to make it. But by exporting and re-importing I can get it to go as far as I want.
