PLEASE HELP!!! Xara online webhosting...

Hello All!

I recently upgraded to Xara Pro X 18.5. I was given a free year of online hosting. I am currently trying to register with xara online with the coupon code they provided me, however every time I try to submit all my personal details I get the same error over and over again. This is the message I keep getting: An unknown error occurred. Please try again later. If anyone can give me any guidance on this I would be truly appreciative. I am almost in tears, I have a deadline on my research project that I am just about to upload the corresponding website. PLEASE HELP!!!!

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

Assuming you have not been able to resolve this since you posted and because this would at least appear to be a problem with a Magix server, the only suggestion we can make is to email Magix customer service (infoservice@magix.net) and request their urgent help.

Hello Jeff!

Thank you SO much for responding to my post and providing the customer service details. I was finally able to contact them and they helped me solve the problem. Just in case anyone else has this problem... I was trying to log in as a new user because I thought I had to create another account for Xara Webhosting. Also when I tried to log in as a current customer the password was not accepted so I got confused. Anyway, I had to reset the password for some reason... then it finally worked and I was able to process the transaction. I was also pleasantly surprised by how quickly I received a response from the Magix support team as it was my first time submitting a support ticket.

Hi Mandi I've just had exactly the same problem as you had last year - and I was doing exactly the same as you were! Just tried to sign up to the free hosting as an existing user, and it worked! Thank you so much for sharing this info - it saved me from having to put in a ticket to tech support...
