Hi,

I suppose you don't use a VST and your track is a native MIDI.

I don't know if it is the best way, but as you have to transform a MIDI track in an audio track (*.wav) when you want to generate the final result of your mix (wav or mp3), you can record the first MIDI track into audio (wav) in a new track and mute the MIDI previous one.
