Playback volume

Is there a way to lower the playback volume that music maker starts with. Even though I set my overall volume on my computer to a level which is comfortable. When I start Music Maker and start sampling the loops, if I forget to reduce the volume bar it is very loud.

@Ian13RL Are you setting your computer volume via the loudspeaker icon in the taskbar in the bottom right corner of your screen?

Yes, I am. I set that to a comfortable level. As I said in my question. When I start Music Maker the initial volume is very loud.
