Playback stops after a second when using Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 audio interface

Hi, I'm new here, wondering if someone can help me.

I'm using Magix Music Maker 2013 Premium with a PC running Windows 7.

I've just got a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 audio interface and have installed the drivers.

I went to settings / audio/midi and selected the focusrite audio driver from the ASIO drop down menu.

When I try to play back one of my arrangements, the playbacklasts about a second or so and then the music stops and the playback marker sticks, the playback button stays pressed. I can press the stop button and it goes back to the beginning.

I'm not the brightest when it comes to solving computer problems, does anyone have any ideas? I've wasted a day doing this...

I don't really know but if nothing else works google ASIO4ALL. It's a universal driver that seems to work with everything and can solve problems like this.
