I'm brand new to Samplitude, just getting to know it.  While scrolling through all the menus I must have selected something that only allows the playback to operate for three beats.  It plays then stops after three beats.  The play button is still highlighted, so I think play is still engaged.  When I press play again it disengages the button and the cursor that was at the original starting point moves to where it stopped.  Then the cycle continues. 

Making myself a little crazy over here.
