Playback does not start immediately

While working on a project containing MIDI and soundpools, I moved some sections around and Added tracks. After I did this, whenever I please the play button the program freezes for about 3 seconds and then starts to play.

Has anyone ever encountered this?

I ended up deleting one of the tracks I added and the delay went away. Odd...
