play back on dvd

On some of the dvds I play back they pause. Some do it more than others. Any ideas?

It's probably the discs. I've noticed if I re-use an RW too many times, it will "pause" or freeze during playback. Try using a new DVD. Also be sure your write speed matches the disc's. You can usually find that info on the DVD package. Like x4 or x6. Make sure you don't exceed the DVD's write speed.
