Placing An Arrow On My Screen

CLINT-DANBURY wrote on 7/21/2023, 9:07 AM

I'm not sure if I have asked this Sometime long ago or not.

I tried searching These various pages and couldn't find anything, so If I have asked this before, I ask forbearance and forgiveness, And please just point me to the answers Wherever they may be.

I want to know how to put Arrows on my videos, Not exactly, but quite similarly, to what I see in this...

Here is the URL...

https://www.magix.info/us/tutorials/getting-started-in-magix-movie-edit-pro-2021-part-1--1262870/

The first two examples that I found are in these Segments...

  • 2:52  until 3:00
  • 3:05 until  3:24

My request: Please point me to the pages in the user guide manual which describe how to do this.

Or,,,,

If it can be better explained by somebody here, please do that

Thank you

@CLINT-DANBURY

Hi Clint,

The arrows are under Templates tab, Present(ation). I use Arrow09.

Put a photo on the timeline. Select it. Go to the arrow09 and import or drag it onto the photo. It will be on a separate track and grouped. Ungroup it. It's now yours to play with using Size/Position/Rotation. I use 25% size usually.

I suggest copying the modified one to another Movie and saving it to be used elsewhere or in other projects.
