@Michael-Griffiths Yes, right click on the loop and change the pitch via pitchshifting effect.

Hi, thanks, but that option isn't there for an imported loop?

@Michael-Griffiths I'm looking for the same answer. Does this not support pitch changes on imported WAV loops??? Not very useful, if so.

Hi,

Which version of Music Maker do you have? The current version is 2023 - 31.0.1.13.

Is your Premium version activated?

Music Maker is not considered as a real DAW; Samplitude Music Studio is.

Here is what I get in MM2023 with Premium Edition 2022 activated (and older Editions) on all of the following - imported wave file, voice recording in MM, imported mp3:

and with a Soundpool loop:

@Loren-Scott

Hi,

This is not available with the Free Edition. I'm not sure, but I think that you need at least a Music Maker (Free) and a Plus Edition or at least Plus FX to get Tempo pitch/resample.

Presently, Premium Edition is less expensive than (and includes) Plus Edition.

Hi @browj2! Thanks for the reply. I do also have v31.0.1.13. I thought I had paid *something* for this version (US$29 or so), but don't even recall now. So, it very well might have just been the free version that I started with here. If so, I guess that I certainly shouldn't expect much in the way of full DAW functionality. ;)

@Loren-Scott

Hi,

If you paid something, then you should have something. Did you get an activation code?

See this tutorial:

Music Maker with the Premium Edition activated has a lot to offer, but there are limitations. It depends on your needs. Examples: you can only record to one track at a time; you cannot change or vary the BPM over time; there is no takes manager.
