Adding to his suggestion: Under the 'Effects' tab >> 'design elements' are a number of picture-in-picture presets which you simply drag onto your objects on the timeline. It's easy to try different setups -- just drag in a different preset till your happy. If the result is not exactly as you want you can make additional changes using 'Size and position' as described in the tutorial. Also, for variety try 'Rotation/mirror' for the movement effect group after you have done you re-sizing.
