However we may be able to tell you where to get it if we knew which add-on and from where you purchased it?

I have a 2016 version of Photostory and added on an MPEG-4 codec for video use (in September 2019). I have tried looking everywhere for a tech. support email address to ask them for a my order number or a new activation code.......to no success and this is extremely frustrating.

Assuming your version of PS is similar to later ones have you tried going to Help and checked the options available there to download any previously purchased or "free" additional content? Assuming you registered your previous installation the codec activation should be registered to your account and hence the product and so downloadable.

It shows I have an added "AVCHD Encoder Upgrade" to my products

This is the information I get from MAGIX. I do not have the order number. So it say to contact customer service, but I cannot find the customer service information anywhere.
