After previous successful use of PHOTO STORY 2014 DELUXE, unable to use product. I either get error messages, told to reinstall and upon reinstalling will not connect over internet even though MAGIX will connect over internet upon login. Disappointed in MAGIX product at this point.

What was the exact wording of the error message you received and which led to you reinstalling the app?
Before you reinstalled the app did you ensure you had completely uninstalled the previous installation? Simply using the built-in uninstaller does not remove everything because some files and folders etc., are created on first and subsequent runs of the app so the uninstaller does not know they exist! Unfortunately, it is often those very files and folders which can contain the error-causing items.
The problem of the failed connection is almost always caused by your firewall and/or antivirus blocking the connection. When you write MAGIX will connect over internet upon login, assuming you're referring to either logging in to this forum or even to your Magix account, that does not necessarily mean there is no problem about logging into the entirely separate Magix registration server. Which firewall and antivirus do you have?
If you give us rather more information about your computer and the specifics of the problem we, fellow-users, might well be able to suggest remedies to you.

Problem solved. Needed to uninstall from another computer and reinstall on computer in use. The fault was mine.
