we keep on working hard on our softwares have just released new patches for Movie Edit Pro 2022, Video Pro X13 and Photostory Deluxe 2022!

VPX 13 Patch (.133) / Vdlx 2022 Patch (.111) / Photostory 2022 Patch (.96) 21.12.2021 include the following improvements:

  • GUI optimisations for low-power graphics cards. Prevents hangs on graphics cards with less than 2 GB dedicated memory.
  • Interframe interpolation memory leak fixed. Prevents interruptions with longer projects.
  • GPU Interframe Interpolation Interlaced handling rectified.
  • Improved memory allocation to avoid interruptions in scenes requiring large amounts of memory (i.e. Collages).
  • Fixed: Error when closing the application.
  • Fixed: Crash when switching graphics card in some situations.
  • Fixed: Software option 'Hide News'is now working properly.
  • New: Basic functionality for loading VEGAS Movie Studio projects.

Important:

  • When starting the software, we recommend to install the patch directly.
  • If you are in the middle of an ongoing project, we recommend to finish the project before installing this patch, as data loss may occur in some cases.

Best wishes,
Your MAGIX Team

Greetings,

Patch 111 for MEP is a big improvement on 107 but there is still the problem of Section as discussed here: https://www.magix.info/us/forum/creating-a-section-in-mep2022-21-0-1-104--1288852/

An easy way to replicate the issue is to load a photo into MEP 2022 111 and click on section. All is fine so far.

Then click on Camera.Zoom (or Size/Position/Rotation it doesn't really matter). All is fine still so far.

Next click on Section to re-open it and the image has returnes to FULL.

Hi all,

Thanks for the feedback!

Regarding your question - @Colorz and @CubeAce, with the discontinuation of VEGAS Movie Studio (VMS) we programmed a feature which allows you to install your VMS project files into MEP.

Best wishes,
MAGIX Team
