Patches for Video deluxe, Video Pro X and Photostory Deluxe 2021-12-06

Dear community,

we keep on working hard on our softwares have just released new patches for Movie Edit Pro 2022, Video Pro X13 and Photostory Deluxe 2022!

VPX 13 Patch (.129) / Vdlx 2022 Patch (.107) / Photostory 2022 Patch (.91) 06.12.2021 include the following improvements:

Program no longer hangs on exit if the Disc-burning interface was previously open.
The program doesn't freeze half closed when shutting it down.
"Size/Position/Rotation" keyframes can be set directly after "Apply Effect" without having to select a specific parameter.
"Record date & time"- timecode now supports more file types.
Random crashes when opening the program settings dialog have been fixed.

Important: When starting the software, we recommend to install the patch directly.

Hi.

Size / Position / Rotation selections can now no longer be dragged into a position within the screen with a mouse or drag the horizontal numbers box to move the image horizontally. The image can be dragged vertically and the vertical numbers box can also be dragged.

Markers are being enabled upon opening.

Exporting audio as an mp3 file is still not possible.

I do appreciate your continued efforts to bring us the best experience your team can.

Also please do not be afraid to tell us if something has been taken away from the program. It would stop us from trying to report such things as bugs or missing effects.

Sorry, I stand corrected. It's the anchor point that has to be moved in the numbers and can be done, but not by dragging the image with the mouse, but no actions are recorded by the key frame editor automatically or manually when changes are made. So you can not change or move a clip from one area to another or shrink or grow it so it can change or move across the screen during playback. additional key frame markers can not be added.

Size Position Rotation is now working and recording as it should but required a restart of my system to take.

Both mouse modes now work in both the horizontal and vertical.

Thank you for this update.

Trying to export an mp3 audio file still brings up a warning of rejection of hardware ,rejecting the nvidia card on Processing and switching it to CPU. No mp3 file is produced regardless of program settings.

Hi.

Size / Position / Rotation effect is not recording any rotation effects across the timeline after the initial positions set and any alterations along the timeline result in a non animated effect. These key frames are not automatically recorded at the next point of the timeline nor can they be manually inserted. The Paste icon (next to the Copy icon in the timeline editor) is constantly greyed out.

I am trying to download update for Photo Story Deluxe. I have been over 48 hours and I am only at 64%. Is there a way to get the update via a disk or some other method?

The size of that download (1GB) means that you are actually trying to update to a newer version of the app, not downloading the patch to which this thread refers. (The size of the patch update is in the tens of megabytes!)

Do you have sufficient free space on your hard drive to store the download?

Do you have a very slow internet connection? Or, is it possible that your Antivirus and/or firewall is actually blocking the download, at least partially, especially if you are using Windows Defender? To test this, try turning off Windows Defender or, better still, change its setting to allow your computer to communicate with the Magix download server.

If your internet is not slow and you do not use Windows Defender (or any other antivirus/firewall which is blocking the connection) I am honestly not sure what you can do! You could email infoservice@magix.net and ask for their assistance - perhaps the app can be made available on a DVD - but the usual method of obtaining software today is via online download.
