If lets say you had 4 clips on the timeline, you select/highlight 3 of them, then change the size with SPR didn't there used to be a pop-up that asked if you want to apply the SPR to all selected?
Gday Gid, checked MEP 2021 and the answer is no. The Size and Posn effect is applied to all, but no prompt/popup. It just happened.

@AAProds Yeah but there was a pop-up in the past,, wasn't there? Not just for SPR I though you got the pop-up for most effects.
If you drag a 'Video Effects' from General options the pop-up appears but I've hardly ever used those & yet I still remember this pop-up appearing often 🙃🤷♂️
I presume that you are selecting several clips with the first one having the SPR effect, right-clicking on the first one, and looking for "Apply to all selected." It's not there, only "Apply video effects to all" and "Apply video effects to all of the following."
Instead, right click the one with the effects, Video Effects, "Copy video effects" (shortcut - ) and select one or more of the effects that are applied to that clip. Now select the clips that you want to apply the effects to, right-click, Video Effects, "Paste video effects" (shortcut Shift+- ).

@browj2 Thanks, I think I'm going a bit senile but I've had this software for 20yrs & am well aware of the copy n paste, so no i wasn't 'right-clicking, looking for "Apply to all selected"'. I was just going through stuff & then General options effects, I dragged one on & that msg popped up, n I thought hey didn't that use to pop up all the time when more than one clip was selected 🤔🤷♂️
@AAProds The Size and Posn effect is applied to all, but no prompt/popup. It just happened.
@AAProds@browj2 The reason behind this post initially started because I was using SPR to change some clips, I changed with SPR the first of 3 selected (out of 4 clips on the timeline) but only the first changed, so no 'Size and Posn effect is Not applied to all', that made look further wondering why & that's when I dragged one of the General options on & that pop-up appeared. That then made me think didn't that pop-up used to appear whenever more then one clip was selected & something like SPR was changed.

@AAProds@browj2 Here is the reason I got into this, like i say no SPR is not applied to all selected & no pop-up appears. To apply SPR to all you have to, as you say John, copy n paste, but i could've sworn the pop-up used to appear.
That is different from what I thought that you were looking for.
Magix changed the way SPR worked when they combined R with SP and added Anchor Points and a button to Apply Effect. Now, you cannot modify SPR values of the selected objects; it only applies the SPR effects to the last one selected. Note that there is a different colour on the last one selected - orange vs yellow for other selected clips. You then have to use the copy/paste as I indicated.
Strangely, if you select several clips for which SPR Apply effect has never been applied, then click on Apply effect, it will apply to all selected clips. However, modifying the parameters of one does not modify the parameters of the other selected clips. Could be an oversight or deliberate; I don't know.
Again, no, I don't think that it ever asked if you wanted to apply the effect to the selected clips, it just did it. I checked this in MEP2015.

@browj2 Yeah strange, I'm going mad I think, like i say I never use the fxs in General Options but have seen that pop-up on several occasions over the yrs .. dunno, doesn't really matter i guess 🤷♂️
