Are you using the Stereo processor/enhancer to control panning?

If so - if you are using the Pan direction control (circled in blue) - this has a limited range of approx 6 dB. For true panning to either full left or right use the L/R controls circled in red - ensure the Link button below these is not activated.

Once the effect is applied the track Fx indicator should change colour

If you are not using the Stereo processor/enhancer to control panning please give more details on how you are applying the effect.

Thanks for the quick answer, sorry I did not specify how I pan: on a split area of a track, I use the effects that come out when I double click the fragmented part of the track.
