I see attributes for having both... like the more expensive Sound Forge Pro and SpectraLayers.
Sound Forge Audio Studio
Sound Forge Cleaning Lab

I want Sound Forge Pro , definitely. but am relatively new to Magix and a tad inexperienced with production. Also, I have been making music with Music Maker premium, and I would be using these products to edit those file...

okay

Right now I have 2 serials, one for SF audio studio 12 and one serial for SF audio cleaning lab.

If I were to - not waste one, while choosing the finer of the two, - which one is preferable?

And which one should I give to a friend to try, the other one...?

I have very little experience with AS and have not used CL at all. You could install the demos to try out.

Sound Forge Pro includes the NR 2.0 noise reduction suite as well as iZotope's RX Elements...not to mention Ozone Elements and a bevy of other FX plug-ins.

I see the features pages per program:

Audio Studio

https://www.magix.com/us/music/sound-forge/sound-forge-audio-studio/features/#c988630

Cleaning Lab

https://www.magix.com/us/music/sound-forge/sound-forge-audio-cleaning-lab/features/#c989845

I see some similarities like Restoration and Editing, etc. I am looking for best quality. Simply. Or maybe it is not so cut and dry. Then I would like to know what does each program excel at over the other... Or even better, do I need them both?!?! as their assets may overlap but one does it so much better than the other, while the other does something greater than the first...

and finally Does Sound Forge Pro trump both programs combined?>

Audio Studio is definitely better for editing. Cleaning Lab may bundle more built in effects from MAGIX. It's just a rebranded Audio and Music Lab... SFAS 12 included Audio Cleaning Lab for a while. I ended up never using it, and uninstalling it.
