I am moving away from PRO TOOLS as they have become insensitive to small-time, using hobbyist. Before I make the jump to SF15 pro, there is a scenario I am accustomed to setting up when recording multi-tracks ahead of a session and directing, when needed, the overdubbing track as the only recording input while monitoring playback track(s). Fading-in to its nominal recording levels then fading out at its completion on the overdub track. Likewise coordinating the playback track to fade-out and fade-in allowing the overdub recording to flow/heard...etc.
The recording & playback volumes are independently unique to each track in PT. Do I need to learn a new flow technique or is what I described above still useful or do-able in SF15 pro?? (WIN10 pro/003+rack)
