Output controller in magic maker

David-Pook wrote on 12/15/2020, 9:23 AM

I bought a M-Audio Oxygen Pro 25

It works ok and am happy with it, but when i record in Music Maker, the output on the keys or drum pads does not come out on my PC whilst recording. Only when I play the track back can I hear the sound.

I would prefer to play and hear the recording as I go.

I have looked in the program settings and can't find the correct option or area for this.

Can someone enlighten me on how to do this please?

Thanks in advance, I would appreciate any help with this.

Hi

Assuming you have set the track to MIDI REC, and selected an Instrument to play using the Oxygen Pro, and you are not hearing any sound - try these settings, they work for me, if your sound card is not a Realtek then it should have similar settings as shown in the image when you click the Advanced button.

If you are using an external sound card ensure this is set as the default playback device in Windows.
