Oraganizing Page Anchor -Named

Randy-Baker wrote on 12/28/2018, 11:44 AM

I use many page anchors on my website so the user can click on a title and it will take them to the story. As a result I have a long list of Names to direct the page anchors. Is there a better way of organizing them. Maybe by page so there is not as many to chose from when I am linking the anchors to them.

Thank you. Randy

Hi Randy

AFAIK there is no way to group the display of page anchors by page.

A work around is to name the page anchors such that they refer to a specific page eg

gallery_item1, gallery_item2, index_item1, index_item2 etc

where the name part in bold is the page name and the rest is the article/item linked to.

Then when creating a link the drop down list the anchor names are more easily identified though they may not be in alphabetical order.
