opening wav files from older samplitude application

I have been using Samplitude 15 for ages and have thousands of wav files and VIP projects. If I purchase the newest version will I be able to open those projects and wav files in the newer version and work with them as before?

Old VIP files should be compatible. But it's always a good idea to make a complete backup of your installation before changing versions so you can go back if something doesn't work like expected.
