Only 1 PC activation allowed at one time?! Bummer . . .

So I recently purchased Samplitude Pro x 365. I downloaded and activated it on my laptop. Then, I went to my PC at my home studio to activate it there. It would not activate and says I may only activate it for 1 computer and not 2 simultaneously.

Is this correct? Or am I missing something? If they truly do only allow 1 registered machine per purchase, that would really be frustrating. I always have used my MAGIX software on my PC at my home studio as well as my laptop to take on the road. I feel like that's reasonable . . .

Any assistance here is appreciated

Hi,

This is quite possibly the case for the 365 subscription version. You should be able to go to Help and somewhere see Activate/Deactivate to activate the second computer and deactivate the first one. You can do the same from within your account. There may be a 1 change per month limitation if you do it from within the program. You should be able to find this information in contract conditions.

For the normal version of Samplitude, you can have it activated on 2 computers simultaneously and deactivate/activate if you need to use it on a third or fourth computer.

Remember, you have a subscription for Samplitude. The license is quite different from the other Magix software that you have.
