I have Music Maker 2014 Premium. I have done an 8 bar bass line in one key using a midi keyboard and put it all the way along the song. I want to use the "Tempo & Pitch" to alter the pitch, but the "one pitch higher" & "one pitch lower" are faded and cannot be selected, does anyone know why? And how I can get it to work? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi,

Midi files are not treated the same as audio files. Pitch shifting is for audio files. For midi files, you go to the piano roll of the object (double-click), select all of the notes that are to move, and move them up or down on the keyboard to the correct pitch.

Hi

Or the easier way is to use the Transpose function which does the same as the Pitch shift except it is for MIDI.

Right click the midi object(s) select Transpose and  enter the number of half tone steps by which the playback is to be transposed up or down! The transposition is shown in the MIDI Object in the arranger with "+n"
and "-n" (n is the number of halftones)
