@Terho-Oksman

Hi/Hei

Which version of Music Maker did you have before the 'update'?

I suspect what you have done us upgraded to Music Maker 2021 and it is using the serial number from your previous version - check the version number under Help, About if it is 29.0.x.xx then it is Music Maker 2021.

Assuming you do not want MMM 2021 - which you must pay the Upgrade price for to get a new serial number as it is in effect a different program from your previous version of Muic Maker.

I would suggest you download, install Revo Uninstaller (freeware) and use it to uninstall Music Maker and then run the scans and delete the files/folders and registry fragments left behind.

Download and install your previous version of Music maker from your account at magix.com.

Activate with your serial number, check for updates - but do not upgrade to MMM 2021 if the update message states the upgrade version number as 29.0.x.x.

Then re-install all the Extra Content - if you chose to leave this in the installation folder during the previous install it will be installed without being downloaded again.

Hello John EB,

Thankyou for your suggestion comment, appreciated.

In relation to the Music Maker 2021 version now on the laptop by Magix doing, the premium rights version has been already paid for previously.

It seems that, there is a real software defect occurring in the time when Magic requested the patch version upgrade to be installed that resulted the 2021 version to be on computer and since such that was installed to the laptop computer.

There was a short time period at start of the updated version use when there was no software quality failure. That short time only was for the first day use of the updated version.

On next computer start up being the next day, the questionable repeating and vexatious demand commenced.

All required payments for extra soundpools and instruments were transacted legal tender (paid) last year.

Note: During yesterday's repeating fault events, Microsoft signalled a small message window to the undersigned indicating a software defect was occurring in relation to Music Maker to windows system. Microsoft signalled that the matter was requiring of Microsoft to inspect/attend the issue.

This signal fact confirms, that, in whole or part, the matter warrants expert and specialised knowledge to make good.

Upon a difficult and lengthy re-input downloads demand by the Music Maker to store link program resulting features re-activated to full premium capacity, the software advises that the paid premium and additional purchase items is already recognised and able to be used.

It is apparent that there is a software defect that is repeating.

The suggestion to undertake a reversal uninstaller undertaking is onerous and unreasonable and, certainly a task that is for suitably computer qualified persons. The undersigned is a musician.

The undersigned continues to seek remedy guidance on issue.

Sincerely,

J.M. Zemlic FDSM
